Ricardo has been with Ag Installers for seven years, steadily advancing through various roles. He began as a welder’s assistant for a year and then managed the materials area for two years. After that, he served as a superintendent for another two years before stepping into his current role as a project manager, where he has excelled for the past two years.
As a project manager, Ricardo ensures that each project stays on track by understanding its full scope and strategically adjusting staff allocations to meet shifting delivery dates efficiently. He works closely with the superintendents to keep projects on schedule, oversees compliance projections, develops three-week work plans, and resolves third-party issues that could cause delays.
When asked what he enjoys most about working at Ag Installers, Ricardo says the company’s belief in him and its role in his professional growth. He also values the ability to provide a better quality of life for his family. What truly stands out to him, though, is the shared passion, values, and dedication of every team member. At Ag Installers, people don’t just think as individuals—they work as a united team, knowing they can rely on one another.
“I enjoy sharing what I know with others, helping out where I can, and working as a team. It’s good to have a team with different ways of thinking and to be able to learn from their experiences.”
Outside of work, Ricardo likes spending time with his family, going for walks in the park with his wife, playing with his daughter and visiting parents and siblings.
I like to see new places and thanks to the job opportunity that AG has given me, my family has been able to visit me in the United States a couple of times and with this we have visited places in the United States that perhaps without this job opportunity would be somewhat complicated to visit. Some of the places we visited were Chicago and Niagara Falls.
